Porcelain tiles: Most people prefer the porcelain variety because they look natural and have the same appearance and texture as stone tiles. Porcelain tiles, which have a homogenous structure, don't chip and scratch and are quite resistant to weight.

Viny tiles: Viny tiles are not only inexpensive but the easiest to install. They look great as kitchen wall tiles but they do need careful maintenance because they scratch easily.
